Introducing QMR ------------- 5
WHAT IS QUICK MEMO REMINDER?
QMR is a hassle-free calendar program. If you manage
projects, or if you forget birthdays or appointments, you
will find QMR indispensable. When you turn on your
computer, QMR reminds you of the dates you entered in your
calendar. You choose how often QMR reminds you--either
daily, weekly, or monthly. QMR is non-intrusive and so will
not interrupt you while you are working with other
applications.
After you install QMR and edit your AUTOEXEC batch file,
QMR will run each time you boot up. Depending on how you set
QMR'S defaults, it will either remind you of your
appointments or continue with the rest of the AUTOEXEC
commands. QMR adds less than 1/2 second of time to your system
boot ups.
WHO CAN USE THIS SHAREWARE VERSION OF QMR? FOR HOW LONG?
QMR has been distributed using the ShareWare concept.
For more information about Shareware, see page 30 in this
manual. Non-registered users are granted use of this
software for a limited trial period. You should know within
a short time whether or not you want to keep QMR in your
software library. If you keep this software and use it, you
are expected to register it.
QMR and its documentation are NOT public domain software.
It is copyrighted. Changing QMR's screens or documentation,
selling QMR, or keeping and using QMR without registering
are violations of copyright.
For information about distributing QMR, see page 2 of this
manual.
